16th-18th - Automotoretro - One of the best Italian classic car shows held at the famous Lingotto Fiat factory. If you are a Fiat nut, this is the one not to miss.

From May - Tour of the Land of Engines - aid for planning trips or booking your own around the Alps and Italia - for real petrol heads. 27th-29th - Vernasca Silver Flag Hill Climb, Castell'Arquato, Italy. Famous hillclimb demonstration (long) for classic, pre-1973 cars. www.cpae.it

JULY

5th Turin launch of 500 Abarth including launch party at Corso Marche. Details will be added with formal club invites.

5th-6th - Valcamonica Classic first running after re-organisation of this famous Italian car Hillclimb. From this year the event will be centred in Burno in Berzo Demo (BS), and as normal it follows from the Silver Flag weekend. 19th-21st - Goodwood Revival Meeting - Evoking the halcyon days of motor racing as it used to be in Goodwood Circuit's heyday up to 1966, with all of the accompanying spectacle and glamour of the era.
