Opening hours 0900 - 1800 hrs

Always find it daunting - even with the brochure/ stand map - here are a few that have interests and new products you may be interested in......

want this to be a quick read, so comparison stands doing similar products will be added per line...... Like This.......

Autosport Engineering (Trade Days only)

BF1 Connect - motorsport connectors in an emergency (not cheap though).... Filcon

Butser Rubber - Hants based moulding and bonding specialists across industry & m-sport........ Martins Rubber

Carrillo Industries Inc

Drexler Motorsport - new innovative LSDs for racing on show

DTA - latest ecus colour dashes and sensors complete range on show including this year's replacement ecu for road cars.. Motec... ETB

Dymag from Chippenham - new wheel and carbon fibre range on show

Eibach have a good range to look through as ever

Jenvey Dynamics.... good cat.

Perfect Bore - Capricorn Industries (Andover).......Laystall..&.. Hone-all..... not attending

Raceparts get a catalogue if you haven't already... ARP are here too...

Simtech (Belgium) fuel cells - couple of our members have used them - don't know enough, curious.... ATL

Simpson Race Exhausts (Slough) - getting a good reputation around here, so I want to check them out

St Cross Electronics - Southampton based m-sport loom/ harness design & build ... Tony James - comparison stand.... Perfect Partners

Speciality Fasteners (Devon) are publicising a new bonnet catch design.... Trident.....

Surface Transforms (Cheshire) - newer carbon brake technology

Tarox - you will want their catalogue/ price list if you run any Italian kit there big difference in prices in UK dealers last time I checked.....

Techno2/ Tecnofibre - spawned from Walkers Garage (Yorks) Lancia etc rally cars, very interesting set of rally bits for club upwards

Think Automotive - always important to have their cat.

Tilton - always important as a design/ price/ quality comparison

Additional News:
Pro-Cut Europe - have launched their new automatic, on-car, brake disc cutting lathe. The new 9.19 takes about 10 mins an any disc and is a big step forward in reliability and speed over their previous machines.

Oakley Design - announce the world's first all carbon fibre roll cage. They are confident in their anti-splitting technology, and individual layer testing. FIA approval is being sort for race approval by 2009. The technology offers major benefits for future carbon fibre applications in general.

Willans - show their new super-light race harnesses for race applications.

Discounts really depend on who you talk to - most of the trade stands there aren't trying to actually sell anything there and then, instead they are building contacts and hopefully contracts for the future. It isn't entirely true though, I managed to get a huge saving on my last set of racewear from AWS and it wasn't even from the stock they'd brought with them - it was fully tailor made to fit. Similarly I was offered some good deals on Hoosier tyres last year but I never had the chance to take it any further although they aren't really at the top of my list of tyre suppliers they do make some very effective sets of rubber for F3-esque fittings (ie the Dallara).

The most important thing you can do on the day is make sure you leave your business card with each of the contacts you are interested in and then phone them when you get back to work the following week. If they remember who you are you stand a much better chance of getting a proper pucka trade priced account than a cold call when you desperately need something in a hurry. It normally helps to have RB with you too as everyone seems to know him (the downside is actually getting around to see everything).
